The Beast Mountain Bike Trail at Coed-y-Brenin

is a challenging 38km route, combining elements from the MBR and Dragon’s Back trails. Designed for experienced riders, it offers a physically and mentally demanding experience, with many riders finding it a true test of their abilities. The trail features loose, rocky climbs, technical descents, and a variety of obstacles including stone fly-offs, berms, tabletops, and hips.

Highlights include the Adam & Eve’s rhythm section, Serpent’s tail, and the Adams Family descent with its stone corkscrew. The Pink Heifer and Big Doug section provides over 4km of continuous singletrack through tall Douglas Firs. This trail is not only about endurance but also about skill, leaving many riders either utterly exhausted or triumphantly fulfilled by the end of the ride.
